Took a pic of a very old scope.

It comes with accessories...not sure what they all do!

I think one might be a diagonal?

Wow! That is old! And look, the very first wheel is underneath it too! ; )

The wheel has clips on it...the scope is from the 1700s I believe...they used to decorate the tubes....now there is a thought. We could all get rid of boring white tubes.

Come on experts....what are those accessories for....are they aperture stops?

The item left of the diagonal is for a quill pen, that to the right is its inkwell and far right the cover for the inkwell.

Actually it was for the autoguider, into which was inserted a trained hamster which would squeak 'Left a bit' and 'Right a bit' and so on.
