S@N Magazine - November Editon

Out at lunchtime and noticed that the latest edition (November) of S&N comes with a Moon phase poster. Did not have a chance to look inside but looks interesting. What with the great Messier Post last month maybe S@N are making up for the lack of the CD cover disk. Looking forward to seeing if mine is on the door mat when I get home, unless the dog had other ideas...

Hopefully more freebies will turn up over the year.

Yes. like this poster, particularly when it shows Christmas to New Year 2016 as having virtually no Moon for the whole holiday period , unlike this year's Winter holiday period .

Hi,

The most important piece of good news is that SGL member Mark at Beaufort is picture on page 90 with his Orion Optics VX8.

Hopefully Mark can bring it along to SGL XI in March. I will make room on my pitch if that is helpful.....

Surely the most important good news in the UK Astro Scene wasn't in S@N November, but the announcement on page 96 of November Astronomy Now magazine ?!
