A Cornish Swan's Wing.

On a little cottage getaway in Cornwall this week, and the weather has been rather kind. Managed some widefield photography with the StarAdventurer in between getting soundly beaten by my wife at cards.

Here is one of my more successful shots of a wing of Cygnus. Canon 450d, 50mm fixed lens.

Great image. The star field is mind boggling!  I think I can spot NGC 7000 and is that the Veil just to left and up of centre?

Yes, the Veil is there and you can just make out the other end of it around 52 Cyg. Loads of things I didn't know about in this for sure.
