Out with the Sunderland Astronomical Society last night. Fantastic clear sky's. 

Found Andromeda, The Great Cluster & The Ring Nebula..............the rest of the time I was spent in awe of the sky above us.

We did, at least 50 members turned up, so every type of viewing instrument was on hand.............but you know one of the best was just our eyes. Who said Astronomy has to be expensive.

What a turn out, received an invite from Micheal, full of a heavy cold so mingling was not a good idea, headed North instead, naked eye observing was a feast.
