First Ha Image, NGC6888

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

got my first Ha image tonight. I must say im very surprised at how much longer the subs need to be to bring out the detail. I will try and get some OIII tonight. One query, could someone with knowledge tell me if the lighter area at the bottom left is nebulosity or just some sort of artefact in the pic. I need to get more data to take out the noise, but ive done my best in PS to get rid of it. Attached a PNG and JPEG for those with slower internet. Anyway
