Pelican & HH 555 in mono

Not much imaging this year so I'm just working through some stuff left over from 2014.  This is IC5070 in H-alpha, processed to highlight the jets in the Herbig-Haro object HH 555.

Details:

MN190 (1000 mm @f/5.3)

QSI 583 camera with Astrodon 5 nm Ha filter

Exposure: 8.5 hours  (17 x 1800 sec), unbinned 1x1

I might try a softer reprocessing.  On reflection, I think I over-cooked the sharpening and also got a bit carried away with Straton! 

I broke my first rule of processing: 'When you think you're done, it's probably over-done; go back to the previous version!'
