The Rosette OSC with a touch of Ha

Hi,

Taken early on last night while the hazy clear spell lasted. I went for OSC just for the star colour and had planned to add the Ha data taken on the 383L+ last week but when I combined them in PI I just didn't like the result the Ha was just to overpowering so I processed normally and did the rest in PS and added a little more of Ha as Lum as well as the RED channel. I think it worked sort of OK as the OSC data was very soft due to the haze or whatever it was hanging around.

15 X 600s subs with Bias and Flats, WO Star 71, QHY8 ( the good old clunky one ) and HEQ5 Pro with PhD guiding.

Nice Rosette.......worth the effort.

It was hazy here so did'nt bother last night.
