DSS image problems

Hi all.

Can anybody help me with DSS, After my initial success with my new camera i went out the other night to have a play. What a disaster. I was trying out a Synguider with my set up and failed with that ( Thats will be another post! lol) Anyway, I tried to use the images in DSS  and the images came out different sizes. My images from the camera are 5184 x 3456. But when I move them to DSS they are 1336 x 3516. Then DSS says that it can only use one image. What am I doing wrong? is it the format? CR 2 or my settings? I have spent an age trying different things with no luck. 

Any help much appreciated.

Check to see if they have been loaded into DSS as a CR2, sometimes it loads them up as a JPEG if you take both RAWs and JPEGs at the same time with your

camera.

That is all I can think of off hand. :)
