Horse Head osc

Hi Every one, got the Data for this a week ago, Only just now had the time to process it,

Came out a little softer than I would have liked, mainly due to the to little bouts of bad air pollution (fog) .

2 hours of 5 minute subs, 8 inch quattro,Qhy8l osc at -20, sitting on a eq6 pro.

Processed in DSS, Pi and PE

 The only negative stuff you hear about OSC is from filter wheel demons dodging every cloudless night to achieve an image in under one season ....lol :-)

..but of course I would say that because I'm not prepared to spend 3k on the upgrade to LRGB har har!

Great image Paul - I think the QHY8L is a very capable CCD and being a OSC you don't need to spend weeks (based on the temperamental British weather) trying to capture an image.

Nice HH, it's got a real dusty quality about it. 

I must admit I'm struggling to get anything other than quick monochrome shots with my Atik 16 mono, but they do look very sharp! Never tried OSC although I can see the sense with our wet climate and busy lives.
