Avalanche on Mars!

OK OK, what scope did you use for that pic Steve, and how much is one gonna cost us??

Does anybody happen to know which pole this happens on?

My last Mars pic, small one captured 04th March shows a polar area with a line of darker area below it. Is this the area where these avalanches are happening?

4436_large.jpeg???

Cheers

Wouldn't a video of an event like this be something. I have watched avalanches in Switzerland and they move fast but under Mars gravity it would be like a slow motion - really something. I read somewhere that they also go a long way on Mars due to the material being slippery. Fascinating stuff. Nice one Steve.
