Custom parts for scope making

Does anyone know of a reliable company that can produce custom routed/milled parts in either wood or aluminium (up to about 500mm dia in wood) that can actually be bothered to reply when someone makes an enquiry?

Four so-called custom cnc parts manufacturers in the last month i've approached for quotes on items and so far, none of them have been bothered to reply.

Another nod for Graham - made a focuser riser for me, expertly done,  cheaper than I thought and arrived quickly. Hes got a good understandig of what you

need even from poor drawings ;-)

If you have a local company it might be worth heading down to discuss your plans in person. Try to drop the word errrr... cash into the conversation.

I use a couple of companies for bespoke machine parts. Making paper aeroplanes from my plans and chucking them out the window gives a similar response rate to email.
