The Monster animation (90 mm)

I give you third light from my not-yet-perfected Lunt 35 mod to 90 mm. Shot with Chameleon mono, 45-second intervals, 42 minutes total, frames aligned with imgalt:

It's a fantastic animation.

The pictures are great too, but I keep staring at the animation.

So nice to see the monster in motion!

Great images. Do you have a thread on your conversion please? I am visual only. Is it worth it for that application?

Excellent animation, never seen such activity in a sunspot before apart from places like SOHO.

Moonshane, here's the thread: link. I had a terrific view with the first lens combination (but a nasty sweetspot on camera), but yesterday (with longer lenses) it was barely usable with very low contrast. Could be due to highlights after shortening the drawtube and removing its baffles, I'm in the process of diagnosing it.

Nice. What progamme did you use to make the animation with.

First I align the frames with imgalt, then open them as layers in GIMP, crop, resize (if necessary) and export as animated GIF.
