centroid
Another 'grab between the cloud' session last night, but found enough gaps to secure enough subs on M66, to make a reasonable image.12" LX200R + f/6.3 FR. 13x300 sec subs. Guided at f/15 (ED80 + x2 Barlow).Dave

centroid
so whats on for tonight,m65??? Rog I started out on M95 last night, but it looked quite boring actually, so I switched over to M66. I think I did M65 recently, hmm!, I'll have to check. Dave

centroid
Hope you dont mind me asking what are the black artifacts being caused by?Not at all Kevin. I hadn't noticed them, so thanks for pointing them out.Had a look at the original full sized image, which was saved as a TIFF, and the artifacts weren't there. So, it must have been something that I did, or occurred, when I resized and converted the image for 'posting'.Reproduced another compressed jpeg from the original, and this time all was well. Have uploaded the new image.CheersDave
