Need serial Ports?

They also do an 8 and 16 port version if you need lots, 4 feels like plenty to me.

Im replacing the single port convertor i have with this as my mount has advanced features when connected via 2 ports i have read.... worth a gander i feel.

Could be very useful for obsy automation.  I'd definitely power it from a separate PSU though.

Ive been using startech serial cards for work in desktops and laptops. Never had a problem with them once set up even at high speed. With win7 it should be noted i needed the drivers from the website not those on the mini cd that came with the card(s).

Uses the no fuss FTDI chipset, data activity lights, hard reset button on each port though I've never needed it.
