Comet Jacques C/2014 E2 - 3rd August 2014

I decided to get up at half 2 to catch Jacques after it had cleared the neighbours roof.
Everything set up and connected first time after not being used for a few months.
I was soon focussed on Capella then slewing across past "The Kids" in Auriga and onto the Comet.
The comet was just about bright enough to be seen in the finder scope.
Auto-guiding up and running, but I could already see the dawn starting to break, so the race was on...
I grabbed 13 subs until the background was too bright and called it a morning.
This should get easier over the next few mornings before dawn, until the Moon starts to interfere towards the end of next week.
