x6gas Posted July 15, 2014 Share Posted July 15, 2014 Yup very nice - though you've got the elephant standing on his head (your Aussie connections?!)You might be able to calm the halo on the Garnet star (least I think that's what it is - bottom left of the widefield image?) down a bit. If you place a version of the image that has been less aggressively stretched - before the halo really comes out - below the fully stretched version. Then put a show all layer mask on the fully stretched image paint a black circle on the mask to cover the halo and then use brightness and contrast to adjust the background of the less aggressively stretched version so that it matches the fully stretched layer. A bit of blurring of the mask for a smooth transition and this can work quite well... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
