APM 100Ed APO binoculars

I'm considering purchasing these just out large binoculars. I'd be looking to use them up to around 120x magnification (apparently they can go to 150x but I guess that could be just advertising). I've read the long thread on cloudy nights which is broadly positive about them - it seems they may be better at magnifications over 40x than below this which suits me since I would be after higher mags mostly.

Is collimating likely to be really difficult to do at over 100x and will I likely need to collimate them immediately even though they are collimated at the factory?

Any views or comments? Has anyone got or tried them yet?

There are two 100ED bins from APM. I think only the more expensive one is good above 100x. At nearly 3,000 euro I would guess (nay, demand) that they were properly collimated in the factory, and be rock solid

Someone in our club has them. With decent eyepieces, they are very nice indeed; slightly better than my Miyauchi 100mm.
