Hello folks,

Just finished putting this one together.

Imaged on the 1st and 8th Feb with my 14" LX200GPS at around F5 with an Atik 16HRC and Hutech IDAS LPS filter.

Guided with a TAL 100R at F10/ DSI pro/PHD

Had a few odd gradients to deal with and I didn't take enough care lining my camera up with my 1st batch of subs so I've cropped it a little.

This is 45 x 6 minute subs, hope to add the same again to improve the S/N ratio somewhat so I can push the explodey bit some more!

That'll have to wait until I get home in March though....skies permitting.

Heck now that is Good Rob , super image mate , fantastic detail , rock on 16HRC heheheh , hey you keep saying when u get back , ????? WHERE ARE YOU THEN , TIM BUCK TWO :D

When I last heard from Rob err yesterday he was in Peru Roger :lol:

Another Superb Image Rob that's certainly a contender for POW

Thanks folks...I'm pretty happy with the way the galaxy's come out, but not at all pleased with the background noise level....any ideas how to get it down without losing the fainter stars would be gretly appreciated!
