Hi Guys,

First stab at webcam imaging last night. Here are the results:

First one is mare humorum.

This was my first go at lunar imaging and I forgot to note settings, etc, except that it was 10 fps. Despite that, comments are welcome.

They came out really well. 10fps seemed to work really well - I tried a similar region as the second one last night and yours is much sharper than mine.

Some good detail in there Martin 8) Good first pics I reckon. The schiller image might just have the edge focus-wise. Let's see some more matey. Did you use Registax?

Hi Matthew and David

Yup, used Registax but only on the first steps of the learning curve. These two were the best of about 10 avi's. I'm really looking forward to having another bash. Thinking of how to mod my focuser (peanut butter jar lid and rubber flange is top of my list).

Fantastic 1st attempts at Lunar imaging Martyn. Once you've got yourself a leccy autofocuser you'll never go back, makes a huge difference not having to touch the scope. Well done and like Ian said "keep 'em coming".
