Managed to capture 6 x 20min subs of this target tonight in H-alpha, I'll be looking to add OIII and SII as and when the clouds allow

Scope was my TV NP127is + 0.8x reducer, CCD Atik490EX @ 1x1 bin, Losmandy G11 guided with a Lodestar.

That is a beauty Chris, much intricate detail showing. You have now made me think seriously about 690 as my next upgrade, most of my scopes are short and fast and it can be binned for the longer ones. Do you find the dynamic range satisfactory?

You can get caught out with really bright objects (like the Ring Neb), but the well depth isn't that much different to the 460. It is a lot less of course compared to large format sensors - maybe half.

A big investment in time for not much image data on this frame - SII 9 x 20min subs. That was all night dusk 'till dawn. Next up will be the OIII.
