I was up early to catch the Sun but the clouds had either ideas. Should've taken in a few planets last night instead of keeping my power dry for the clouds

Nice one Steve, nothing from me today (now yesterday), too few gaps and too much wind.  We could do with a few more spots as well, it is starting to look a little bare.

Luke, I managed a nice shot of Saturn last night (now the night before), the sky cleared very nicely, but I am still getting to grips with my new camera.

Nice Saturn shot, Robin! The ASI120 looks interesting. My C11 is gone now, alas, though it did help fund some new astro stuff.

I'm up for some planets tonight if the clouds keep away as promised by the Met Office. I am hoping to see how my 8 inch SCT fares on a giro mount. No work tomorrow so a late night and up early to boot in case Sol turns up this time should be okay
