Perfect end to the day

Recommended Posts

Managed to get outside for the first time for weeks. Found Saturn with the Bins, then got the scope out. Saw Saturn and the rings. 25mm EP and a 10mm EP, but when I put the Barlow x2 on it was very blurred. Do I need to collimate my scope? Quite happy though, Moon, Mars and Saturn in the same sky, fabulous. Perfect end to the day.

It is either seeing or collimation. I would go for seeing, but it depends have you ever collimated your scope. I am however guessing it is a reflector. As above, what scope are you using?

Hi Guys, I have a Skywatcher114 Newtonian. I did see the rings of Saturn without the Barlow. Seeing wasn't very good last night.

No I have never Collimated the scope. Think that should be next thing to do.
