My husband ordered my telescope yesterday . It won't arrive for Mother's Day but it is scheduled to arrive Monday . It's just the telescope for now I will be getting other items I want later but I'm happy it's the new telescope

Congrat's, hopefully it comes with a new mount.

Otherwise that bent flimsy tripod might (from previous posts) give up the ghost.

................ I told him what type I liked and how big the aperture should be. He have me a budget and I think he's gonna go bigger like he tends to do..............

Yes my understanding is that the new telescope comes with a new tripod and mount. But I don't know which telescope he ordered for me exactly. It's happy agony waiting for it to arrive.

......he may be kidding you! .........although a Tripod  does rule out the simple to operate Dobsonian?  I don't know how your agony is happy.......go tickle him, get the truth?
