Wrong size Astrozap dewshield?

I ordered a dewshield for my scope from FLO - the Astrozap azfds-8-se (notched) but asked them if it was suitable for my 200p dob, and it arrived today - they sent the az-101 instead (with no notch)

Fair enough I thought they obviously know what size is best so I wasnt concerned...

However just tried to fit it to the Scope and it seems to be far too big

There's quite a large gap between the shield and the OTA- it's definitely not a snug fit and because there's no notch for the dob handle it doesn't go down the OTA very far so its also lobsided

Am I missing something obvious here - am I putting it on wrong? Is it supposed to be a snug fit?

I can make the circumference of it slightly smaller by adjusting the Velcro fastening but only by about 2 cm and it makes the fastening a little unstable if I do this. I will give them a ring tomoz as you suggest -just wanted to make sure I wasn't making a big faux pas before I contacted them.

I've just realised that there is another SW 200p (not a dob) I wonder if they thought I had that instead? Although I did say 200p dob

I assume the other 200p has a larger circumference outer tube?

They're the same dia. Just different mounts

I bought the Celestron notched one for the C8 second-hand and it fits my 200P perfectly.  I am sure FLO will change it for you.

My brother bought one and it had another strip further down so it would fit two sizes plus I had to cut the notch out for him

All sorted now thanks FLO sent the wrong one by accident but they've arranged to swap it no problems
