March 30, 2014: long thin prom on eastern limb

Just spotted a long thin and bright prom northwards on the eastern limb. Just south is a very bright patch with a bright short prom in its centre. This looks like it might develop into something. Further south is another small patch of proms. The western limb shows little in the way of proms.

Its still a bit hazy here Michael but I caught a glimpse of this earlier during a cloud break, it looks almost needle sharp.

If  the haze clears up I think we could be in for a fruitful Solar observing day
