light streak near M97? what's that?

Have a look at this - either I have a strange artifact in all of my subs or I see a comet? At first I thought it's a jetstream, but it's in the same place in all subs:

it's probably just an artifact which means that I have to spend 100s of £ to get rid of it???

Oh, it's actually near M108 (the surfboard galaxy - really? surfboard? what's up with the strange names lately??)

On second thought, probably there's a gap in my camera somewhere, allowing a nearby streetlight to shine in a funny way onto the sensor I guess. Mhm - could it be the finder? I should come up with an idea of how to totally wrap the camera so that no stray light can get on the sensor...

The cost of getting rid of it would probably be prohibitive

Looks like a satellite trail to the right of M108.

In the vale of Glamorgan galaxy disposal is every 3rd Wednesday of the month between 6 and 8 am.

Nope. It must have been some jet stream. By 3-4 am it had vanished.
