SynScan upgrade

Wonder if anyone could help me. I am thinking of getting a synscan go to upgrade for a NON pro eq5 mount. The problem is in the advert for this upgrade it says that included is a " replacement control panel / motor board". The problem is my mount has no panel or board to replace. It is just a manual controlled mount, no motors or anything. The stepper motors handset etc all come with the upgrade kit but I am a bit confused by the replacement electronics ?

"Replacement" is probably not the best description of the mcb. The new synscan mcb attaches to the side of the mount using a plastic clip.

I've just this minute upgraded my EQ 5 pro to synscan and I can honestly say that I would have been hopelessly lost without that thread.
The manual is worse than useless and doesn't even try to inform you how to fit the stuff , it just shows you how to plug it all in.

This is the one thing with this hobby I've noticed , the manuals seem useless.

Used the exact same thread when I did mine just take your time and it should go without problems
