Afocal Jupiter ....take 2

Right another go at Afocal work, and I have slightly more details this time. Taken as before (though this time is a TAL 100R and a TAL GEM EQ) with a Panasonic handheld, in a baader digiscoping bracket, through a TAL 25mm Plossl. I attached the TAL lens from the x 2 barlow straight into the EP for 1.5x, then focused and racked back the camera in the bracket, zooming in with the camera lens as I went. then put a 10 second delay on the shot. These are a couple of shots just tweaked slightly (levels). bit of fun again trying to get a brief shot. these are the best three....not as good as the big scopes shots but hey...i took them.

a very nice A-focal image, never going to easy with a hand held camera but it has come out quite well!

Thanks all....hopefully the imaging rig will arrive this year. Will swap the refractors for an 8"SCT (in terms of use), plus I can put the handheld back in the camera bag ;-)
