What is the biggest sensible aperture for the UK?

I love my OOUK VX10,and it has their new focuser which works great.This is at the limit of portability for me,I take this thing all over the place.The detail on the moon using this scope is awe inspiring,planetary work is limited here due to seeing conditions-about 150x max mostly and on DSO from dark skies it works fantastic.If I thought that I could transport and carry the 12" F5.3 VX that would be my choice-but carrying the scope up to 200m,through snow etc would be too much,but maybe the 12" F4 would be ok.This size scope is perfect for me and was recommended to me by experienced members;the 10",in any brand would be a nice choice and is a good launching point for the 18" I hope to have someday

This mirror is tempting me as my next step up, it's a good thing I don't have that kind of money running around though .
