First images of Moon

My first attempts at the Moon. The first of Tycho on 21st October, the second 0n 14th January: Montes Appenninus, Archimedes and Plato. With 105 Mak, Webcam, K3CCD, Registax (0.5 Atik focal reducer on 2nd image).

Thanks for the kind comments guys

I must admit that I let Registax do most of the processing, I just fiddled about with the wavelet slides etc at the end. Not that I'm lazy but I'm working on a computer most of the day at work and suffer from a bit of RSI, so try not to spend to much time on one at weekends or evenings (going for the sympathy vote here )

Its amazing what you can achieve with some fairly basic kit a bit of patience.
