Cresent Moon with WO 72FD

Managed to get a short time in last night with the WO before the clouds moved in. This was with the WO Megrez 72 FD with a x2 barlow and the Canon 20D.

Nice one Peter. :-) Is that a mosaic or do you get the whole moon in the frame even with the barlow?

Hi,

This was a single frame. Even with the x2 barlow the Canon 20d and the WO just fills the shot. I could have done with a little more time to play but the clouds started to mist over so I gave up.

What speed was the exposure?

Hi Daz,

Thanks all for the comments. It was taken at ISO 200 with a 0.4 second exposure single frame. Its a bit over exposed behind the terminator and I couldn't recover it in PS and by the time I tried again it was all to fuzzy. Next time may be.

Nice shot Peter, great detail at the terminator. I know what you mean about the fuzziness, the have been almost non stop over the last couple of weeks.
