Well the break in the rain came just as predicted , out and in within 30 minutes before the second downpour arrived .... 

Stacked the best 13 from 60.

1000D + ED80Pro + 1.8 x Barlow + Scopium wedge + Continuum + IR/UV Block.

1/250s @ ISO 200 , 13/60 , Reg 5.1 , Gimp 2.8.

Excellent image.  Though I am not sure when you found a gap in the clouds, I don't remember any gaps here in Cambridge.

Very nice Steve, great detail.

Nothing from me all weekend, not enough sun yesterday morning, busy in the afternoon and then it cleared today, but I was out concentrating on keeping our yacht upright. Dark when I got home. Hopefully next week.

Nothing for me today on the sun. It didn't seem to clear properly here, though maybe I missed some patches.

But chuffed I managed to image it yesterday. I guess that means solar is just about possible all year round at home for me. A few telegraph poles and wires to dodge, but I'll take that
