r3i
No UK based suppliers that I'm aware of.As suggested by Astro Bay on her site, I got some from Doug Dieter (skygazer@kennaquhair.com). As of Jan 2012 they cost $13 and arrived 5 days after sending payment by PayPal.

r3i
OK thanks I was hoping for a UK supplier but will e-mail Doug. Thanks for your helpNo worries - he came across as a very friendly & helpful chap, and as I said it only took a few days for them to get to me so the fact that he was across the Pond was pretty much irrelevant. Gtech
Here's a cheaper DIY alternative to buying spacers from abroad, they supply PTFE sheet in 0.25mm to 1.5mm thickness. Fortunately I didn't need any for my rebuild as I ended up removing one spacer from each axis after measuring for hypertune.
m.tweedy
The spaces were only 13 dollars including shipping into the UK so I was quite happy at the price.
adyj1
I think I can be forgiven a little thread resurrection here for the sake of prosperity... Just to bring this up-to-date, as at September 2018 Doug is still providing Eq6 shims - the set contains 12 shims, 4 in each of 3 different thicknesses, 0.020 inch, 0.015 inch and 0.010 inch. Cost $16 including postage. Ady
