The Blue Snowball.

High above the square of Pegasus NGC 7662 and better than most of the fireworks last night.

A beautiful blue at x48, then go in at x100 and keep going. It blinks wonderfully, just stare it out without straining the eye.

Just a couple of very bright noisy hours selecting targets for our local scout meet. Starting off with the hilarious NGC 457 nearly upside down in the refractor, M27, M57, double Double,M31, Double Cluster, Kemble's Cascade at x20, Albireo, Bode's and Pleiades. That should give them a few things to wander at !

M13 is still possible , but the Auriga clusters a bit low and there be trees !

Nick.
