This is my first picture of Mars of this season, made ​​at F/30 and increased by 1.5 x.

Good shot, nice to see an early mars. Is that RGB mono or colour cam?

I had a go at mars this morning in RGB mono but am not holding out much hope for the results.

Thought that may be the case. I think I should have used my DBK as the RGB isn't looking good. I may post the red later as that is ok but the G and as usual the B are a mess. They then over power the R when combined so the output is also a mess!!

I think I'll follow you for a while until mars is a bit bigger and higher and use the DBK.

Another nice shot there Emilf. It's a shame as the face of Mars we had this morning doesn't have much on it. Olympus mons is on that face pretty much in the middle given the time of the pic but maybe a bit small to pick out. That will be a few months yet.
