NGC281 in Hydrogen Alpha

At last a relatively clear night and the first opportunity to get out and image over the whole of the Christmas period! I installed my Ha filter before Christmas in readiness for imaging while the Moon was about but bad weather stopped me from using it until tonight and despite the Moon only making a late appearance, I decided to image in Ha anyway and this is the result:-

That is a nice tight image. Lovely stars and some nice contrast in the nebula.
