Had a try at the Sun earlier in the year, just taking single shot. Thought Id have another go and stack a few images this time. 100 mm Strathspey binoculars Canon g9, 40mm ortho, 6 images stacked in r6, Image Analyzer.

Nice one , no easy task with that set-up ... :laugh:

I got a shot of the partial eclipse this way a couple of years back , with the bino wedged in a widow frame and a lot of luck ... was actually my first Solar photo before I got the 1000D and a scope even . . .

It's addictive you know , there's no getting away from it now .... :p
