Bit of a wait today , but the blue started to appear mid-afternoon and I was ready for once . . .

Shot a quick 100 through the clearest bit , used 35.

Bit more going on today . . .

1000D + ED80Pro + ND3.8 + 1.8 x Barlow + UHC + S/L.

1/1250s @ ISO 200 , 35/100 , Reg 5.1 , Gimp 2.8.

A nice little AR developing in the lower centre, let's hope for sme more activity over the next few days.

It's another of those rapid growers that has sprung up from nothing in 12 hours or so , should be interesting in the morning . . .

It seemed to be swinging your way for a while then veered back from the North again .

Looks good for a lazy Sunday in the Sun though . . .

Very nice. I just got a glimpse of the sun in H-alpha just before the sun dipped behind the houses. A large filament almost shaped like the blade of a scythe was visible close to the centre of the disk, and another one near that larger AR down below.

Looks like that southerly AR grew quite considerably during the course of the day. I'm about to go out and grab some images now.
