Back at it , the grey blanket has finally lifted . . .

Had a look at lunchtime but dire seeing meant I didn't bother shooting any .. .. .. :embarassed:

Tried again when I got home from work and everything had settled down a treat , pity there's not a great deal to see apart from lots of tiny spots/pores.

A nice image, despite the lack of much to look at. Doesn't seem to tie up with Raben very well (and nor did mine). I guess there must be more ARs that are just too small to pick out.

I've given up on Rabens " farside" predictions , they always seem to show enormous amounts of activity just out of reach , that never seems to make it into view.

I rely on the SDO latest images now , the scope position gives them a slightly different view , they catch the new arrivals about 4 hours or so before we can catch it here on Earth.
