The eclipse will be nearly over when the moon is high enough. Pity.

Apparently only lasts for 27 minutes, the third shortest duration this century. The 1.5% obscuration might be hard to detect at the low declination in broad daylight.

I shall have a lookout for it on Thursday, be interesting to see how obvious it appears.

Looks like there is a relatively close conjunction with Saturn too, might just squeeze them both into 5 degree fov, worth a go.
