Thanks Mark, Alexandra.

I am quite happy how the 600D video mode does, when i am setting the shot up i find i end up umming & arring about the exposure level, is it best to go fairly bright or like planetary go dimmer & adjust in PS afterwards ?

I feel i get more detail pushing through if the pictures are a little darker but if you push the contrast up too much it 'smears' the sun spots into one big mess so you got to go easy.

Look forward to the next sunny day.

Cheer's Roger, Allan.

The Canon 600D shoots video in 1920 x 1080 HD @30 fps, but you can enable the digital zoom from 3x - 10x magnificcation, if you leave it on 3x it will still be 1920 x 1080 HD quality, further up the scale to 10x the quality will reduce but it's marginal.

It's because of features like these on the Canon's that amature film makers like to use them, that & useing ML on them also.

I feel i have more control with detail / settings with the dslr than the DMK which is why i will probably stick with it.
