Hi Trudie,

Well what a journey for you and all over just a few days!

Here's a tip for you on first setting up:

When aligning your scope in "park postion" when first setting up, before you power up, use the finder scope to line up on polaris, asuming your scope and finder are fairly well setup. This should give you a fairly good first star alignment (at least in the finders fov) - subsequent 2nd and 3rd stars should then be within the fov of a 20mm ep. (possibly a smaller ep seeing as youre using an ED80?).

I'm sure you'll see a rapid return on your investment as time spent is all observing time :D, and not a frustrating search for that elusive DSO.

Mount finally arrived today :D (Tripod Yesterday) :x and needing to give it a once or twice over to make sure alls well.
