At last another opportunity to see the Sun. Actually had a couple of goes over the weekend but results were very poor for some reason

Anyway better luck today, helped I suspect by the fact the clouds were parted for more than just a few minutes

80 frames from 102 x 1/1600 @ ISO 100 taken afocally through the SL80 with the 1100D and timer remote release. No motors, no tracking, no goto, no nothing, nada Just a simple being with simple kit!

Had hoped to get some H Alpha data today but my capture software kept crashing whenever I touched the exposure controls. Who knows what that is all about. Next challenge.
