Thanks the plan is to get the moon at every phase but with are wether that may take some time,focus is not bad The 10/1 focuser on the sct helps

That's a target I've set myself, too. It's proving far from easy Oddly enough, I do have plenty of full moon images...

Hi James not with out the focal reducer but,I would do it as a two pane mosaic which would be bbetter thanks

I was wondering whether it might have to be a mosaic.

It will fit just with the 6.3 reducer but I would rather do 20/30 subs of each side ,and stik them together

Very nice captures Pat! Especially with so few frames in the stack.

I was wondering if you could do a mosaic of the Moon with slices from each phase making up a full disc. I guess it would look really strange as the shadow wouldn't look natural. It would probably make the surface look completely flat as there would be shadow detail right across the disc.

I may have a go at trying that...if I ever see the Moon again!

It was a good night I usally use the dmk and a Barlow ,but it was clear for a change
