Finally got another opportunity to grab a look at the sun today.

26 frames from ~120 (1/1000th sec @ ISO 100). Conditions were pretty poor, sky was hazy and visually the Sun could be seen shimmering at the limb.

This is just my 8th session with the sun this year, ~1 / week. This time last year I had racked up 15 solar sessions by end of Feb!

Good on ya David. I picked up a pst on a modded ED80 today. I got my first view of the sun in ha at about 3.30pm. It was cloudy all afternoon until I saw a small window of oportunity, so I had to give it a try. Praying for more sun tomorrow so I can get my eye in and get used to focusing and tuning.

Hi,

Nice shot of the sun in difficult conditions. We have been lucky through the day, but night time has been very thin ths year. Yesterday morning was superb here, but it s overcast and grey today, s no solar for me.

18 times for me, in Ha. I can't compare it to last year as I only started solar in June of last year.
