Of knifes and rings

Hi,

This is NGC5907 called a Splinter galaxy or a Knife's Edge.

Jay GaBany discovered huge tidal streams around it 5 years ago.

He is my modest try. No idea where Jay got so much of the loops around it.

LRGB-900:160:160:180, colour binned.

Thanks for consolation. This is the only Jay's image without any reference to instrument or integration time. The guys in Capella observatory could only bring up just a bit of loops. So may be he used 8 meter scope like with Umbrella galaxy.

M106 Ha is incredible but who knows what you can pull off with 900 minutes;)
