Comet Holmes has a tail..

Recommended Posts

At last, no clouds for a few hours. This is a quickly composed process of a couple of the frames taken this evening. I've got rather a lot to wade through tomorrow now including some interesting runs taken through my 14" SCT with a Lumenera SKYnyx. Some juicy detail has appeared in the test runs I carried out earlier.

It's not much of a tail though is it?

Well done for getting what tail there is, you can tell you had to push the image quite hard to make the tail out.

I'm guessing that as the comet moves around in it's orbit the tail will increase slightly. Lets just hope that the comet is still visible in a few weeks...
