I thinking i am writing my reports wrong, they are too short and are scattered all over the house. I feel like i am doing something wrong. I think i need to put them in a binder.

Go for it and don't forget to include dated/timed sketches

Spiral bound notebook. Tried hard bound, but the dew and use don't last. It's lovely to look back through old observations and sketches.

I used to collect loads of tree data, I went to IT and asked for the quickest and most convenient data storage and they pointed to my notebook and said "that's it ".

Nick.

And real notebooks have zero start-up time, and don't have a battery that dies on you halfway through a session. My hardback notebooks are kept inside, as I observe from the garden and pop in to write my notes.
