astro fest london

hi all! just wondered who is going ? was not going but may go now due to the Rubbish weather need some astro fix!!!!!! stuy

Thought about going, but when I considered the expence of

transportation, bridge, parking & conjestion fees, accomodation, etc..

I might as well spend that money on something I really want,

but couldn't justify the cost otherwise.

Just my way of looking at things in the present economy.

i'd love to go , but as mike has said your easily talking over £100 probably more that could be more toys for my scope... or even go towards my second scope..

im considering going, wanted it for conference but sats sold out but to maybe get a book signed by B.C n B.M would be good as well as get that solar scope i want!

id be going by either mega bus or FGW train but havent decided yet

When i went Years ago now and met Stuart there that day i bought a mount and scope with go to drives and saved a fortune over £400 getting a astrofest discount so it can be more than worth while and enable large cost savings and that is with the cost Mile mentioned as well

just for a day out and a nose around nahhh that what the webs for....
