well i have got my heart set on one of these Dobs no so there's no going back time to start putting some £££ away either a 12 or a 14 inch, so i have emailed David and waiting for a reply. he has a very good reputation which is a deciding factor, so im hoping to put my order in at the end of march or april so i will have it for around september time. hope he emails back soon just out of interest does any one know of any one else who builds custom dobs in the UK ?

Thats my aim too,either an 18" or 20" luckhirst dob,very highly recomended

You know you may see one in the flesh at one of the big starparties, perhaps Kelling Heath? If you're set on one perhaps you could call up Mr Lukehurst and ask to go round and play with one to see what it's like.
